Privacy Policy
Effective November 2, 2026
Overview
Consider It Done Events ("Consider It Done," "CID," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit cidevents.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete our information request form, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, event date, type of event, service needed, guest and budget estimates, your preferred contact time and method, and anything you write in your inquiry. When you sign up for CID updates, we collect your email address. When you call or email us, we receive whatever you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information with each visit — your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. When you submit a form, we include your IP address with the message to help us identify spam.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and prepare proposals for your event
- To plan, coordinate and deliver the services you hire us for
- To send CID updates if you have signed up (you can opt out at any time)
- To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems
- To comply with legal obligations
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Consistent with the confidentiality statement on our form, the information you submit is for our internal purposes and is not distributed to outside companies or vendors for their own marketing.
We share information only as needed to operate our business:
- Service providers that host our website and email and deliver our messages, who may process data on our behalf
- Event vendors (such as venues, caterers or photographers) — only the details needed to deliver an event you have hired us to plan, and only with your knowledge
- Legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of CID, our clients or others
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We keep their use to a minimum:
- Session cookie (essential). When you submit a form, our server sets a temporary session cookie used to limit repeated submissions and block spam. It expires when you close your browser.
- Cookie-notice preference. When you dismiss the cookie notice, your browser's local storage remembers that choice so the notice doesn't reappear on every page.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking cookies, or social-media tracking pixels. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address; see Google's Privacy Policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, although forms may treat repeated submissions as spam.
Links to other websites
Our Site links to other websites, including the partners on our Useful Links page, our blog, and our social-media pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies before sharing information with them.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and meet our business, tax and legal record-keeping needs, and then delete it. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your choices").
Security
Our Site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and form messages are sent through an authenticated email account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please don't send sensitive information such as payment-card numbers through our forms.
Your choices
- Email updates: reply to any update or email info@cidevents.com to unsubscribe.
- Access, correction and deletion: contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
